Metzger Animal Hospital is proud to support Meals on Wheels, the Bob Perks Cancer Fund, Central PA Fourth Fest, Centre County 4H, Centre County Women’s Resource Center, Easter Seals of Central PA and Centre County Tides among others. Our hospital also has a participating team in The American Cancer Society “Relay for Life”.
Our favorite pet community service examples include: Centre County PAWS, Pets Come First, Tudek Dog Park, Bark in the Park for rescues, Blair County Dog Park, Indiana County Humane Society, Elk County Humane Association, Altoona Pet Expo, Huntingdon County SPCA and our great local rescues:Golden Retriever Rescue, Nittany Greyhound Rescue, Huntingdon County Humane Society , T &D’s Big Cats of the World, Beagle 911, Rescue Our Furry Friends and many others.
We’re especially proud of our association with Centre County PAWS and Canine Partners for Life which combines prison raised therapy dogs with handicapped people in need. We also sponsor Princess the Centre County Court Canine who assists children when they testify during trials at the Centre County courthouse.
