Routine blood testing is extremely important as patients age. Anytime your pet requires anesthesia (surgery, dental prophylaxia) we perform preanesthetic blood testing to rule out underlying problems and establish baseline values which are normal for your pet. In addition,we will recommend age and breed specific testing as your pet ages.
